There is an exciting opportunity to join the Southern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority as Deputy Chief Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Officer.

This post will be of interest to those who are committed to the IFCA vision and purpose. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to support and develop the sustainable management of coastal fisheries. With your previous management experience you will engage with a wide variety of stakeholders and will lead the delivery of the IFCAs fisheries management. 

Based in Poole, Dorset and responsible for the management of fisheries in the coastal waters of Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight, Southern Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority (IFCA) seeks to lead, champion and manage healthy seas and sustainable fisheries now and for the future.

Pay: £37,000 with annual progression, subject to performance.
