Lyme Bay and Torbay cSAC

Lyme Bay and Torbay is a candidate Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and has been formally submitted to the European Commission for its Annex 1 reef features and submerged sea case features.
 
The site comprises two main sections:
 
Lyme Bay Reefs
Mackerel Cove to Dartmouth Reefs (falling within Devon and Severn IFCA District)
 
The following sub-features are present:
 
  • Bedrock reef
  • Stony reef
  • Biogenic reef
  • Submerged or partially submerged sea caves
